Why I travel and what this webpage is for |
On this site I wish to share my travelling experience. I tried to provide general and practical info, to facilitate the orientation and the overall picture of the financial situation of the traveller in these regions, to facilitate the planning of the budget, to recommend the agency or hotel, tell the local attractions, warn, encourage, inspire.
My aim is to travel in itself, the daily movement, and getting to know the normal daily life of local and see majestic wonders of nature. Museums, churches, ruins, etc. I treat complement of knowledge and diversifying the trip. If possible, I usually follow my own paths and try to avoid popular tourist routes and commercial tour operators, but often to see some attractions means to entry into commercialized world. although The designated start and end of the trip, that only points on the map. In fact, everything that has the greatest sense of travel is incomparable - they are feelings of joy, satisfaction, happiness, admiration, and sometimes there are also the negative one, as it happens in our lives. We just add some colours to our life and get new experience.
Do you need to be rich to travel? Absolutely not! I travel very cheaply - hitchhiking, using local transport, sleeping in a tent, hammock, in local houses or in the cheapest hostels. Not so long ago, when I was going to slide shows in Krakow I watched the presented slides with envy, dreaming of escapades. I didn't believe that they can become real for me, the barrier was of course the financial issue. But when people started to sharing their experiences, I realised that it really can be to travel cheaply. I started to collect useful information (books, internet, meetings) and planned my route, and budget. If you really want something, it's not so hard to achieve it.
Fortunately, my spirit is still restless and from time to time I move on the road full of surprises! Starting from home always accompanied by a kind of fear and a large dose of adrenaline. I like this feeling - it is taste of great uncertainty adventure. There is no reason to wait, just move out of the house, you have just ONE LIFE!
