Hong Kong
September 2003
Hong Kong is economically high developed compare to other countries of South-East Asia. I have the impression that the main attraction in HKG is shopping, especially electronics. But there is also lots of other things to do, including the great lookout at the city from Victoria Peak, ride the tram on the upper deck, and admire the urban chaos, swim in the sea on the other side of the island, or watch at morning the Tai Chi exercises in parks. For me HKG has incredible distinguished modern architecture. Composition of skyscrapers is impressive, if you look at it from the relevant sides. It can be noted that look like an exhibition of contemporary art.
Unfortunately, after returning to Poland I get ill, and newspapers notify about the new infection of SARS in a Hong Kong. I went to the doctor to examine myself and finally landed in the hospital in isolation for the next 11 days. I had pneumonia, but fortunately different variety then SARS.
